Center Shannon Graham scored a season-high 10 goals Friday to power Ocean View’s girls water polo team past Marina, 14-5, and into the top-three round-round group at the Falcon tournament at Santa Ana Valley.

On Saturday, the Division 6 contenders will play Northwood at 10 a.m. and JSerra at 1 p.m. in the round-robin final at Valley. Northwood and JSerra play at 4 p.m. in the final game.

Elena Isogawa, a senior with Graham, added four goals. Graham also drew three exclusions, including a penalty shot.

At the Western Ladies tournament:

Eight teams went 2-0 on Friday to reach Saturday’s quarterfinals at Garden Grove, starting at 8 a.m. The matchups are Mayfield-Santa Monica; Dana Hills-Los Al JV, Laguna Hills-Tesoro and Montebello-Trabuco Hills.

Santa Monica is one of Ocean View’s potential foes in Division 6. Dana Hills and Montebello are teams to watch in Division 2 while Laguna Hills and Trabuco Hills could be playoff teams in Division 4.

The final is set for 3:30 at Garden Grove.

In nonleague:

No. 3 Orange Lutheran 10, Cathedral Catholic 6: Kelsey Tyler had three goals and three steals to lead the visiting Lancers in San Diego.
