Gordon cleared 16 feet, 6 inches to win the pole vault in the CIF-SS Masters Meet at Cerritos College on Friday. He jumped a personal best of 17 feet, 2 inches to win his second CIF-SS Division 2 title the week before. The senior leads the state and is ttied for fifth in the U.S.
