Michael Echaves is the new football coach at Godinez, the school announced Wednesday.
He replaces Aron Kaye, who resigned.
Echaves was an assistant coach at his alma mater Fullerton and at Santa Ana Valley and Segerstrom.
Godinez was 0-10 in 2014.
