Bella Baldridge scored four goals and Thea Walsh made 12 saves to lead Laguna Beach’s No. 1-ranked girls water polo team past No. 5 and host Foothill, 11-2, in a nonleague match Thursday.
Olympian Aria Fischer had one goal and two assists for the Breakers (9-0) while Evan Tingler added two goals and two assists.
Grace Pevehouse and Mallory Reynoso scored for Foothill (6-6), which beat Laguna Beach in the CIF Division 1 semifinals last season.

No. 9 Santa Margarita 14, Villa Park 7: Transfer Christina Doherty scored six goals in her debut and Samantha Loughlin added three goals as the visiting Eagles (6-3) held off the Spartans. Lindsy Peterson scored three goals for Villa Park (12-6), which trailed, 9-6, in the fourth period.
No. 10 El Toro 10, Rosary 7: Georgia Vargas scored four goals in the loss for the visiting Royals (8-6), who trailed, 6-5, going into the fourth.

Irvine 10, Northwood 5: Junior Tawni Gellerman scored five goals to help pace the visiting Vaqueros (5-4, 1-0).
