FIRST TEAM

Manuel Acosta

Magnolia, Forward, Jr.

He led the county in goals (28) and was the Orange League MVP.

Garrett Amador

Servite, Forward, Jr.

He scored 23 goals, including the winner in the Division 1 semifinals. He finished with 57 points and was selected All-CIF.

David Yepez

Santiago, Forward, Sr.

He scored 25 goals, which ranked second in the county. He scored four goals in postseason as the Cavaliers won the Division 5 title.

Oscar Flores

Servite, Midfielder, Sr.

He had four goals and two assists in the playoffs and finished the season with 10 goals and eight assists. He was an All-CIF selection.

Amirgy Pineda

Century, Midfielder, Sr.

He is a member of the U.S. National U-18 team. He was selected Orange League Offensive Player of the Year.

Williams Vasquez

El Toro, Midfielder, Sr.

Coach Shawn Watts called him the “motor” of a team that won the South Coast League championship and advanced to the Division 1 championship match.

Anthony Arellano

Santa Ana, Defender, Jr.

He helped the Saints post 14 shutouts, including three in the playoffs. He was the Golden West League’s defensive player of the year.

Elijah Barajas

Servite, Defender, Sr.

He helped the Friars post 17 shutouts and win the Division 1 championship. He was the Trinty League’s defensive MVP.

Israel Espinoza

Santiago, Defender, Sr.

He was the Division 5 player of the year. He helped the Cavaliers shut out all five of their opponents in the playoffs

Taylor Kane

Edison, Defender, Sr.

He helped the Chargers post 10 shutouts, including two in the Division 1 playoffs. He was an All-CIF selection.

Ethan Thrall

El Toro, Defender, Sr.

He helped the Chargers post 12 shutouts and reach the Division 1 championship match. He was the South Coast League MVP.

Keith Murphy

Servite, Goalkeeper, Sr.

He finished the season with 16 shoutouts and a 0.603 goals against average. He was co-MVP of the Trinity League and an All-CIF selection.
