CIF-SS BOYS SOCCER FINALS

DIVISION 5

Santiago (20-5-2) vs. Chino (19-6-2)

Where, when: Corona High, Saturday, noon

Fan info: Tickets are $10 general admission, $5 students with valid ID and children (3-13). Parking is free.

Live coverage: Foxsports.com Prep Zone

Outlook: Santiago is led once again by a talented striker. Daniel Yepez has knocked in 24 goals, which ties him for second place in the county. He has four goals and one assist in four playoff games. But with the way the Cavaliers have been playing defense, one goal from Yepez might be enough to deliver a championship today. Santiago has shut out its last seven opponents. The Cavaliers average 2.6 goals per game and have scored at least two goals in each of their playoff games. Chino is making its first appearance in a boys soccer championship in school history. Alfanzo Gonzalez and Adrian Lopez scored for the Cowboys in a 2-0 victory against Rialto in the semifinals.
