Fisher was selected to the All-Trinity League first team after 26 goals, which put him in the top five in the county. He had eight mulitple-goal games, twice finishing with a hat trick.
CONNOR GORDON
Edison, Forward, Senior
He had eight multiple-goal games and finished with 27 goals and four assists. He scored a season-high four goals in a nonleague victory against Dana Hills. He was voted the Sunset League MVP.
BRYCE KAMINSKI
San Clemente, Forward, Senior
Selected the MVP of the South Coast League after finishing the season with 26 goals and 11 assists. He scored a goal in four of the Tritons’ five games during the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs. He had six multiple-goal games, including a three-goal performance in a victory against Corona del Mar.
RONALDO PINEDA
Century, Forward, Senior
Pineda was selected as the Orange League player of the year for the second year in a row. He scored 29 goals, including two in the game that clinched the school’s first league championship since 2008. He scored 10 goals during the Arizona Soccer Showcase – including five in one game – to help the Centurions win the Black Bracket championship. He had 12 assists this season.
ALEC AFARIAN
Esperanza, Midfielder, Sr.
Afarian was selected the Century League MVP and finished the season with 17 goals and eight assists. He scored in the first three playoff games to help Esperanza advance to the Division 2 semifinals … Will play for Point Loma Nazarene in the fall
IVAN CANALES
JSerra, Midfielder, Jr.
Canales was selected the Trinity League’s MVP and finished with 15 goals and eight assits. He had three multiple-goal games. He scored a goal in a 2-1 victory in the season-finale against Mater Dei that helped the Lions earn a spot in the playoffs.
NICOLO D’AMATO
El Toro, Midfielder, Sr.
He finished with 19 goals and nine assists. He had a goal and an assist in a victory against JSerra to help the Chargers win the South Orange County Championship for the second season in a row.
SANTIAGO DiGUISEPPE
San Clemente, Midfielder, Jr.
DiGuiseppe became the main set-up man on a team that scored 80 goals, finishing with a county-leading 18 assists. He was selected to the All-South Coast League first team after a 26-point season that included six goals.
OSCAR HERNANDEZ
San Clemente, Midfielder, Sr.
San Clemente coach Mike Pronier described Hernandez as the “work horse” of a team that made it to the Division 1 championship match. He was an All-South Coast League first-team selection as he finished the season with five goals and eight assists.
JOSE LUIS HERNANDEZ
Century, Defender, Jr.
He was an All-CIF selection in Division 3 for the second year in a row. Hernandez was a leader of the defense that held opponents to two shots per game during the regular season. He has a 4.6 GPA and has been invited to participate in a player identification camp at Harvard.
DANIEL MUNOZ
Servite, Defender, Sr.
A key part of a Servite defense that gave up just two goals in 10 league games and eight goals overall. The All-Trinity League first-team selection helped the Friars post a school-record 18 shutouts.
TY O’CONNOR
Edison, Defender, Sr.
He was the Susnet League Defensive MVP as he helped the Chargers post 17 shutouts. He led a defense that allowed four goals in 10 league matches. O’Connor also finished with eight goals and six assists. He will play for BYU-Hawaii starting in the fall.
DYLAN STRUTHERS
San Clemente, Defender, Sr.
Struthers was an All-South Coast League first-team selection as the anchor of a defense that posted 12 shutouts and a 0.786 goals-against average. He finished with three goals and six assists.
KEITH MURPHY
Servite, Goalkeeper, Jr.
Murphy helped the Friars post a 0.314 goals-against average, which is a school record. He recorded a shutout in the first three rounds of the Division 1 playoffs. He was selected as the Trinity League’s co-defensive player of the year.
