DIVISION 6

St. Margaret’s (21-2-5) vs. Animo Leadership of Inglewood (15-6-6)

At Corona High, Saturday, noon

Fan info: Tickets are $10 general admission, $6 students with valid ID and children 3-13. Parking: $5.

Outlook: To win a soccer game, a team has to score a goal and that could be a problem for Animo. St. Margaret’s has shut out nine of its last 10 opponents. Calvary Chapel of Downey was the last team to score against St. Margaret’s, which won that game, 10-1, in Feb. 7. In the more than 480 minutes of soccer the Tartans have played since then, their defense has been perfect, holding its last six opponents scoreless. Hunter Edington and Dane Lind both scored for St. Margaret’s in the semifinal victory, 3-0, against Valley Christian of Cerritos. Lind has had a habit of scoring key goals this season. He helped the Tartans capture the league title by scoring the winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Sage Hill in the Academy League finale.
