With the girls CIF-SS Individuals Championships starting Friday, here is a look at where the O.C. girls stand in the final Southern Section rankings:

No O.C. girls ranked in top 5. Emily Peraza (Segerstrom) is ranked ninth. Makayla Rydbeck (Esperanza) is 11th with Alaura Couch (Kennedy) and Renise Rodriguez (Ocean View) ranked 13th and 14th, respectively.

Onnalya Aguilera (Santa Ana) is the only O.C. girl ranked and she’s at 13th.

Savanna’s Ariel Guzman is ranked fourth. Alisa Adanza (Beckman) and Jackie Lopez (Tustin) are ranked 7th and 8th, respectively. Santa Ana’s Deysi Chona is ranked 12th.

Gwen McDonald (Esperanza) is ranked second. McDonald is a returning state qualifier. Yesenia Bustos (Santa Ana) is third. Bustos won the Southern Region title last week.

Erica Quiroz (Savanna) is ranked sixth. Heavynne Jerez (Los Alamitos) is 10th, with Tustin’s Julie Moreno ranked 14th.
