The multi-event Comanches sophomore won individual league titles in the 100 (12.36), 200 (25.36), and the long jump (17 feet, seven inches) at the Century League title. Hummel also ran a leg on the Comanches’ winning 400 relay team that set a new meet record with a time of 48.62. Behind Hummel’s standout effort, Canyon won the team title at the meet and clinched its sixth straight Century League title.
