Garant is a two-year varsity water polo player who specializes in 2-meter defense. She also plays catcher in softball and ran cross country as a freshman and sophomore. The senior has earned scholar-athlete awards in all three sports. Garant is a part of the International Baccalaureate full-diploma program. The straight-A student is taking IB French 4, IB biology, IB history of the Americas, IB English 12 and IB theory of knowledge. She also is taking AP calculus BC and is vice president of the French club. Her top-two college choices are MIT and Brown. Garant is interested in playing water polo and softball in college. She is interested in studying biomechanical engineering with a focus on neurological systems.
