Trabuco Hills’ Aaron Harris scored 21 points to lead the South to a victory over the North, 119-108, in the Open Gym Premier O.C. All-Star Game on Saturday night at Irvine Valley College.

Harris was selected the game’s MVP.

The game consisted of senior players from Orange County high schools.

Other top scorers for the South: Wesminster’s Tyler Burch (21 points), Godinez’s Brandon Smith (16), Los Alamitos’ Jack Kaub (15), Saddleback Valley Christian’s Eric Rwahwire (15) and Tustin’s TJ Shorts (12).

The top scorers for the North: Servite’s Trevor Treinen (28), Foothill’s Riley O’Hern (17), Esperanza’s Jarrett Brodbeck (16), Sonora’s Ben Rico (13), Orange Lutheran’s CJ Hankins (12) and Orange Lutheran’s Rogers Printup (10).

Attendance for the game: over 1,000

Dunk contest participants: CJ Hankins, Trevor Treinen, and Brandon Smith. Each player had three dunk attempts. 

Dunk contest winner: Brandon Smith. 1st dunk: Alley-oop off the side of the backboard with a two hand tomahawk finish. 2nd dunk: Alley-oop off the backboard with a windmill dunk. 3rd dunk: Dunk almost from the free-throw line. (video on the Premier Open Gym Instagram page @opengympremier)
