O'Dea guided the Sea Kings to the No. 1 spot in the final Orange County dual meet poll and a third-place finish in CIF Division 1. The Sea Kings also captured a fourth consecutive Pacific Coast League title. Corona del Mar's signature event was its medley relay, which set an Orange County record with 1:33.26.

Robin Jacobsen, University, Eighth year
Jacobsen guided the Trojans to their first CIF Division 1 title. At the Division 1 meet, University used its depth to edge defending champion and top-ranked Edison, 235-233. University didn't capture an individual or relay title but had at least one swimmer in each event. The Trojans also claimed a sixth consecutive Pacific Coast League title.
