The junior midfielder led the No. 2-ranked Knights to Sea View League victories over El Toro and Huntington Beach last week.
Pickell had six key ground balls, scored four goals and had one assist in the two wins for Foothill (11-2 overall).
"Cooper is a player that you want on the field all the time," Foothill Coach Jon Fox said. "He is a versatile, classic two-way player that can play anywhere and plays defense and offense equally well.
"His field presence and vision are big plusses and will be a big part of getting Foothill back to the championship."
Pickell joined the team late because he was competing for Foothill's CIF championship basketball squad.
"But he has still managed to be a game changer every time he’s out on the field," Fox said.
On the season, Pickell has 19 goals, eight assists, 26 ground balls, and nine caused turnovers.
