Mission Viejo quarterback Brock Johnson, The Register’s offensive player of the year, has committed to FCS Georgetown, he announced on Twitter on Sunday night.

The senior had narrowed his choices to the Hoyas and a preferred walk-on at USC.

The Hoyas have struggled in recent season in the Patriot League but have landed a quarterback known for winning and clutch performances.

In other Mission Viejo recruiting news, All-County defensive back Brenden Schooler was offered by Wyoming on his trip over the weekend, he announced on Twitter.

Cornerback Lewis Cowans has committed to Montana while offensive lineman Ricky Bowman has made a trip to College of Idaho.
