Fountain Valley senior Lilia Vu, who entered Sunday’s final round, sharing the lead the with Kaitlyn Papp fired a 3-over-par 75 ay Karsten Creek to tie for third in the PING Invitational in Stillwater, Okla.
Papp cared a 4-under 68 and finished and won her first invitational by six strokes.
In the boys division, Woodbridge junior Hide Yoshihara followed his 80 in the first round with a 69 on Sunday to finish ninth. Yoshihara birdied four of his first five holes on the front nine and went out with a 3-under 33.
