OCVarsity is going to have comprehensive coverage of Signing Day in Orange County.
And we’d like you to be part of it.
Please email us the name of any county athletes who officially sign today. A list of the athletes who sign will be published in Thursday’s Sports section and on OCVarsity.com.
Also, email us photos of the athletes signing. We’ll post the photos — from a school rally, signing on the kitchen table, etc. — in our Signing Day slideshows on OCVarsity.com.
The names and photos can be emailed to preps@ocregister.com. (For both, we need to know the athlete’s name, sport, high school and college signed with.)
There is a 5 p.m. deadline Wednesday for the names and photos to be sent to us. Anything that arrives after 5 p.m. will be published either on the website Thursday or in Saturday’s OCVarsity section.
One more thing to remenber: This signing period is only for football, boys soccer, girls soccer and boys water polo. All of the other sports can officially sign during the spring period, which starts April 15.
