He amassed 361 total yards in the Highlanders’ 42-14 win over Laguna Hills in a CIF-Southern Section Southwest Division second-round playoff game. Barriere had a season-high 114 rushing yards. In the second half, Barriere, 6-foot, 18-pounds senior quarterback, completed 12 of 14 passes for 219 yards. His season touchdowns-to-interceptions ratio is excellent – 34 touchdowns against five interceptions.
