Engel has developed into one of the county’s top distance runners this spring while also being a stellar academic performer. He is currently taking AP Macro Economics, AP Calculus, AP Biology, Honors Physics, IB English, IB Latin, and Christian Leadership. Engel is the vice president of the school’s Ronald McDonald club, serves as a student ambassador, and is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Link Crew. Engel has committed to the Air Force Academy and will officially sign his national letter of intent on Wednesday.
