“We really want to win it all. I know it is hard. You come back from such an emotional high like winning a CIF championship, and then you have to get ready to play on Tuesday,” Godinez coach Ruben Fernandez said. “But we are not satisfied with just winning CIF. We want to win it all.”

Edison, Valencia and Saddleback also earned a place in the So Cal Regionals.

Edison, which was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs, is the No. 8 seed in Division 1 of the So Cal Regionals and will face top-seeded St. Augustine of San Diego.

Valencia, which lost 4-0 to Godinez in the D2 final on Saturday, will open the first round of the So Cal Regional Division 2 tournament against fourth-seeded Oceanside.

CIF-SS Division 3 semifinalist Saddleback is the No. 7 seed in the So Cal Regional Division 3 bracket and will travel to Montgomery of San Diego for Tuesday’s first round.
