Santa Margarita senior Zaire Williams was selected the player of the year in CIF-SS Division 3A, and the Eagles’ Matt Houser was selected as the division’s coach of the year.
The CIF-SS announced its award winners and All-CIF selections Monday. The teams were selected by the coaches.
Santa Margarita won the 3A title and advanced to the CIF Southern California Regional finals.
Orangewood Academy’s Leslie Aragon was selected coach of the year in Division 5A.
