Savanna’s Ariel Guzman (111) and Westminster’s Aine Drury (137) advanced to the semifinals of the weights at the CIF Girls State Tournament at the Visalia Convention Center.
Guzman won two matches by decision (4-2 and 4-3) and one by fall.
Drury, a freshman, won her three matches Friday by fall.
Sadie Camacho (Dana Hills, 106), Lorena Egea (University, 137), Carolina Moreno (San Clemente, 160), Samantha Salas (Godinez, 160) and Amara Devericks (San Clemente, 189) are alive in the consolation bracket.
