FRYER’S OUTLOOK: Sage Hills finished third in the seven-team Academy League and has what very few No. 3 teams have in the first round – a home game. The Lightning will host Chadwick of Palos Verdes Peninsula on Wednesday. The Lightning’s 17-7 record was good enough to make that happen. … St. Margaret’s, which finished second to Crean Lutheran in the Academy League, is seeded No. 4 and has a first-round bye. St. Magaret’s took Crean Lutheran into overtime, at Crean, to show that the Tartans are good enough to get to the championship game of this division.
