If Beckman and Woodbridge advance to the CIF-Southern Section Division 3 championship game, that will place two teams from the Pacific Coast League in the same championship game.

That would happen in Division 6, too, if the Academy League’s Crean Lutheran and Sage Hill win their semifinals games today.

The last time two teams from the same league met in a CIF-SS baseball championship game was in 2011, and it was Beckman vs. Woodbridge. Beckman defeated its PCL rival, 4-1, in the Division 3 final.

In Tuesday’s Division 3 semifinals, Beckman (24-5) plays host to top-seeded Redondo Union of Redondo Beach (27-2) at 3:15 p.m. Third-seeded Woodbridge (22-7) is at second-seeded Palm Desert (19-10).

In the Division 6 semifinals, second-seeded Crean Lutheran (22-7) is home againt Buckley of Sherman Oaks (19-4). Top-seeded Sage Hill (26-1) is home against fourth-seeded Flintridge Prep of La Canada Flintridge (19-5).

During the regular season, Woodbridge won two of three Pacific Coast League games against Beckman. Woodbridge won the first game, 7-1, Beckman took the second game, 3-0, and Woodbridge won the third matchup, 1-0.

Sage Hill won both of its Academy League games against Crean Lutheran. The games were close: 2-0 and 5-4.

Around the horn in Orange County baseball:

• Other county teams playing Tuesday in semifinals: Division 1, JSerra (27-6) vs. Harvard-Westlake of Studio City (23-8) at Blair Field in Long Beach, 7 p.m.; and St. Bonavenure of Ventura (21-7) at Laguna Beach (19-11), 3:15 p.m.

• Admission to the Division 1 semifinals doubleheader at Blair Field is $8 for adults and $5 for students with valid student identification and for children 13 and younger. Parking is free but not abundant.

• Victories in the semifinals would send JSerra, Laguna Beach, Sage Hill and Crean Lutheran to their first CIF-SS baseball finals.

• The most recent time two county baseball teams met in a CIF-SS final was in 2014. That year, Santa Margarita defeated Foothill, 3-1, in the Division 1 championship game.

• This is the first season since 2010 that no O.C. team will be in the Division 2 championship game. Mission Viejo won that division title last season and in 2011. Pacifica beat Aliso Niguel in 2012, Cypress was the 2013 champion and Aliso Niguel lost to Temecula Valley in the 2014 final.

• Sage Hill’s winning streak is at 25 games. There is no Orange County baseball record book. The CIF-SS record book for consecutive games won starts at 26, and no O.C. team is listed at 26 or above, so it appears that a 26-game winning streak would establish the county record.

• Sage Hill junior pitcher Brett Super threw a no-hitter Friday in a 2-0 win over Santa Paula in the Division 6 quarterfinals. He has allowed three hits in 18 innings in the playoffs.

• Super’s strikeouts-to-walks in the playoffs is Clayton Kershaw-ish: 33 strikeouts to three walks. For the season, Super has 128 strikeouts and 18 walks.

• Probable starting pitchers for O.C. teams in the semifinals include senior Colin Quinn, who is 12-0 with a 0.70 ERA, going for JSerra; junior Will Cohen, 6-1 with a 2.12 ERA, for Beckman; and freshman Ashwin Chona, 11-0 with a 0.58 ERA, for Sage Hill.

• Sage Hill and Excelsior Charter of Victorville, which advanced to the Division 7 semifinals, with one loss each have the fewest losses of teams in the semifinals. There have been no undefeated teams in these playoffs.

• Woodbridge had a successful trip last time it went to the Palm Springs area. The Warriors swept Palm Springs in a season-opening doubleheader.

• None of the semifinals games in which Orange County teams are playing is a rematch of a regular-season game.

• Starting times for CIF-SS finals Saturday at San Manuel Stadium in San Bernardino: Division 4, 10 a.m.; Division 3, 1 p.m.; Division 2, 4 p.m.; Division 1, 7:30 p.m. Starting times for CIF-SS finals Saturday at UC Riverside: Division 7, 10 a.m.; Division 6, noon; Division 5, 3:30 p.m.

• The baseball season does not end with the CIF-SS championship games. The Orange County All-Star Game is June 7 at 6:55 p.m. at La Palma Park’s Dee Fee Field in Anaheim (admission, $5). The Ryan Lemmon Senior Showcase is June 10 and 11 at Windrow Park’s Ryan Lemmon Stadium in Irvine.
