1. Mater Dei (27-4, 50 poll points)

It’s hard to believe, when looking at the score, that Monarchs outscored Chino Hills in fourth quarter of 102-54 loss in Open Division semifinal.

2. Los Alamitos (23-6, 45)

Sunset League champion Griffins went 0-2 in Open Division, but season continues in CIF Southern California Regionals next week.

3. Orange Lutheran (21-8, 40)

Lancers went 0-2 in Open Division, including consolation-round loss to Crespi of Encino, and will play in regional tournament next week.

4. Santa Margaria (17-11)

Like Los Alamitos and Orange Lutheran, Eagles went 0-2 in Open Division but will play in regionals next week.

5. Edison (24-7, 27)

Chargers, No. 8 in O.C. last week, will be the only county team to play in boys basketball finals.

6. Foothill (21-8, 26)

Knights’ quest for second straight 1A championship ended with six-point loss to division finalist Temecula Valley.

7. Crean Lutheran (25-5, 20)

Season of growth, accomplishments ended with four-point loss to top-seeded Viewpoint of Calabasas in 4A semifinals.

8. Esperanza (20-9, 16)

Crestview League-champion Aztecs’ season ended with second-round loss to Buena Park.

9. JSerra (19-11)

Lions lost to division finalist Serra of Gardena in 4AA quarterfinals.

10. Yorba Linda (22-7)

North Hills League-champion Mustangs were eliminated in 3A second round.

Also receiving votes: Buena Park (23-8, 3); Capistrano Valley Christian (23-8, 2); Ocean View (25-5, 1).
