Huntington Beach is No. 1 in CIF-Southern Section Division 1 preseason rankings released today.
The Oilers are the only Orange County team at the top of anyof the CIF-SS’s seven baseball divisions. Huntington Beach is No. 1 in some national rankings, too.
In Division 1, Orange Lutheran is No. 2 and JSerra is No. 4.
Other OC teams high in their division’s preseason rankings: Mission Viejo, No. 3 in Division 2; Katella, No. 4 in Division 4; and Sage Hill and Crean Lutheran are Nos. 2 and 3 (behind Flintridge Prep) in Division 6.
