In the Carew Classic championship game, Denhart went pitch-for-pitch with Amador Valley’s Johanna Grauer, one of the most dominant hurlers in the nation. Only a freshman, Denhart was named to the All-Tournament team after winning four games in the circle and leading the Griffins to a surprising second place finish.
