Delgado’s impact goes beyond the normal goals and assists. He accepted the challenge in both games of guarding the opposition’s best attacker and supporting the two sides of his matchup. “It is a tall order,” coach Glen Miles said. “To do that two games in a row, to that success, is remarkable.” He helped the Tartans to a 14-9 victory over JSerra and 14-8 over Palos Verdes. Delgado, a senior defender, also had a goal against JSerra.
