Los Alamitos swimmer Derek Fordham and Mater Dei water polo player Marylynn Cuozzo were among the county student-athletes to sign national letter of intents Wednesday.
Fordham signed with UC San Diego while Cuozzo inked with Cal State Northridge.
Fordham has helped Los Alamitos climb to No. 6 in the county rankings while Cuozzo was a key player for Monarchs’ Division 1 quarterfinalists team.
Mater Dei swimmer Matthew Arcemont also has committed to Brandeis in Massachusetts.
