Dawson’s first year in prep tennis went very well, with a strong showing recently at the Ojai Tennis Tournament, but it closed with a bang. Teaming with Kona Luu, Dawson, just a freshman, earned a spot in the CIF-SS individual tournament by getting through a very tough doubles field in the Pacific Coast League championships. Dawson is ranked as the No. 10 player in his age group nationally by TennisRecruiting.net.
