FRYER’S OUTLOOK: This is a strange division. It’s a 16-team division, but it needs seven wild-card round games Wednesday to reduce the number of guaranteed qualifiers to 16 for Friday’s first round. There were not enough guaranteed qualifiers to create a 32-team bracket. … Express League champion Fairmont Prep (14-9) and Orange League No. 3 Magnolia (9-13) are the only O.C. teams in this division.
