FRYER’S OUTLOOK: Orange County’s best two smaller private-school teams are in this one, and they are seeded 1-2: Saddleback Valley Christian (24-3) and Crean Lutheran (22-6). Both have first-round byes. Both look good enough to advance to the championship game. … Two O.C. teams that could mess up that matchup are Godinez (25-3) and Ocean View. Orange Coast League champion Godinez, in Saddleback Valley Christian’s half of the bracket, will out-quick taller, more talented teams. … Ocean View (21-6), as usual, was not challenged in winning the Golden West League championship, so that raises the question about how playoff-ready the Seahawks will be. But they are good enough to beat most of the teams in this division.
