Outlook: Cypress has been on a tear since the start of league play in mid-January. Coach Nicole Woiemberghe’s squad has reeled off 14 straight wins and has done so playing with a strong all-around effort. Senior goalkeeper Brooke Riddle has eight shutouts over the current run, while Kelly Kessloff and Jenna Dages have paced a dangerous offensive attack. West Torrance has knocked off two county teams (Pacifica, Brea Olinda) in back-to-back round to reach today’s game. The Warriors have conceded just two goals in their last five matches, both against Lancaster in the second round.
