Jack Ventura-Cruess, El Dorado

During a depleted Spring Break week of tennis, Ventura-Cruess paced ninth-ranked El Dorado’s 14-4 victory over Canyon on Thursday with three 6-0 sets. As of Monday, the senior owns a 43-3 mark.

“He’s matured as a player,” Golden Hawks coach John Cyrus said. “He helps all the rest of our players and gives us stability. He’s an all-court player and his game is still getting better.”
