The freshman point guard has led the team in scoring in all three of its playoff victories, averaging 17 points in leading Crean Lutheran to its first-ever CIF championship appearance. O’Malley scored 17 points in a quarterfinal win against University Prep last Wednesday, and followed that up with a 15-point outing in the semis against Westridge. Crean Lutheran will play Heritage Christian in the Division 5AA final on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Godinez High.
