Brett Mertens resigned as head coach at Crean Lutheran to accept a coaching position in Colorado, Crean Lutheran announced today.
Mertens was Crean’s head coach for three seasons. The Saints had their best season in school history in 2015 when they finished 9-4 and advanced to the CIF-Southern Section East Valley Division semifinals.
