Crance, a senior goalie was a co-captain this year for the Sea Kings’ lacrosse team that advanced to the semifinals of the U.S. Lacrosse Orange County championships. He earned first team all-county honors last season. He was a third-team all-county selection in football and the Pacific Coast League Defensive MVP. He earned the Corona del Mar Principal’s Award for highest GPA on the football team and was honored by the National Football Foundation OC Chapter as a scholar athlete. Crance is enrolled in English, AP Calculus, AP Psychology and AP Government/Politics. Crance volunteers with the Surf Dawgs Lacrosse Club and Environmental Nature Center. He’s also worked with the Best Buddies Club, a special needs student support group. Crance also is on the Youth Advisory Board of Directors for the John R. Wooden Scholarship Fund Board. He will attend Yale in the fall to continue his lacrosse career. He’s undecided about a major.
