The senior safety/outside linebacker had two interceptions and five total tackles to help beat La Costa Canyon of Carlsbad, 38-0, in San Diego to extend its state-leading winning streak to 27 games. “Hugh played a great game,” Corona del Mar coach Scott Meyer said. “He is a very smart and instinctual player and is always in the right spot. His two interceptions were huge for us.” Corona del Mar held La Costa Canyon, ranked No. 9 in San Diego County, to under 150 yards offense.
