The Register has made is selections for the 2013 All-County girls soccer team, player of the year and coach of the year.

ALL-COUNTY FIRST TEAM

Dominique Bond-Flasza

Aliso Niguel, Forward, Jr.

Bond-Flasza, who was first-team All-County last year too, was one of the county's most relentless attackers,. She tallied a team-high seven goals for the Wolverines. Selected first team all-South Coast League. She helped Aliso Niguel to its' second straight appearance in the CIF-SS Division 1 title match.

Mackenzie Cerda

Edison, Forward, Jr.

The Chargers junior forward blossomed into one of the top goal scoring threats in the county this season and earns first team all-county honors for the first time. Cerda tallied a team-high 21 goals, recording two or more goals in a match six times. Her play helped Edison go unbeaten in league (7-0-3) and earned her the Sunset League's MVP award.

Riley Eggeman

Capistrano Valley, Defender, Jr.

Eggeman was a key component to one of the county's best defenses this season and earns all-county first team honors for the first time. She helped the Cougars post shutouts in 17 of their 24 matches this season, as Capistrano Valley won the Sea View League and advanced to the CIF-SS Division 1 semifinals. The first team all-Sea View League junior was also one of the county's best set piece specialists and her eight assists tied for the most on the team.

Nikki Faris

San Clemente, Forward, Jr.

One of the county's most feared players in the attacking third, Faris became the heart and soul of the Tritons and earns first team all-county honors for the first time. She led the team with 12 goals scored this season. Faris, a first team all-South Coast League selection, was especially good in the clutch, scoring the matching winning goal in seven of her team's 10 victories.

Cassidy Hodson

Villa Park, Midfielder/Forward, Sr.

A dangerous scorer and one of the county's best play-makers, Hodson became the driving offensive force behind one of the top teams in the county and earns first team all county honors for the first time. She led Villa Park in both goals (17) and assists (11). Her play helped the Spartans win their first Century League title since 1988. Hodson was selected MVP of the Century League.

Mia Hummel

Canyon, Goalie, So.

One of the most athletically gifted goalies in Southern California, Hummel became a leader for the Comanches this season and earns first team all county honors for the first time. She finished second in the county in saves (196) and recording seven or more saves in 17 matches. Her played also earned her the Century League's Defensive MVP award.

McKenna Marmelstein

St. Margaret's, Midfielder, Sr.

Marmelstein was once again one of the county's top multi-faceted players and is being selected first team all-county for the second straight year. Her defensive presence in the middle helped contribute to St. Margaret's allowing only one goal in league play and winning the league title for the . The Academy League MVP also contributed on offense, scoring five goals and recording three assists.

Maribell Morales

Sunny Hills, Forward, Jr.

Morales was one of the county's best overall playmakers this season and has been selected first team all-county for the first time. She scored 20 goals and recorded a team-high 14 assists to lead Sunny Hills to its' third straight Freeway League title and second straight appearance in the CIF-SS Division 2 championship match.

Jenna Reeves

Villa Park, Defender, Jr.

Reeves made her presence felt throughout the season as one of the county's most physical and hard-nosed defenders and has been selected to the all-county first team for the first time. Spearheading a defense that recorded 13 shutouts, Reeves helped Villa Park win its' first league title in 25 years and advance to the quarterfinals of the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs.

Nicole Smolinski

Aliso Niguel, Defender, Sr.

Smolinski enjoyed a banner season and earns first team all-county honors for the first time by leading one of the county's top defenses. Her on-the-ball defense and ability to prevent scoring chances was a big reason in the Wolverines shutting out 11 teams and reaching the CIF-SS Division 1 finals for the second straight year.

Samantha Trenary

Santa Margarita, Forward Sr.

Trenary was once again the leader of one of the county's most talented teams and earns first team all-county recognition for the second straight season. She produced 10 goals and a team-high nine assists. Her all-round play and leadership helped Santa Margarita win its fourth straight Trinity League title and advance to the quarterfinals of the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs. Trenary was also named the Trinity League's MVP for the second straight year.
