Boys golf top players to watch for the 2015 season.
Ari Gulugian, University, Sr.: He posted a 2-over-par 73 at Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs to qualify for the SCGA So Cal Championship. He has signed with Arizona.
Hide Yoshihara, Woodbridge, Jr.: He posted an even-par 71 at Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs last spring to tie for fifth in the CIF-SS Individual Championship, the lowest score carded by a county player in the competition. He has committed to UCLA
Clay Feagler, Dana Hills, Jr.: He won the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional, shooting a 2-under-par 70 at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach. He was the only player in the field to post a sub-par round.
Marcus De La Rosa, Mater Dei, Sr.: Posted an even-par 71 at San Gabriel Valley Country Club to tie for 11th last year in the CIF State Championship. He carded a 1-under 70 at Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs to help the Monarchs qualify for the SCGA Southern California Championship for the first time
Jack Ireland, Tesoro, Sr.: He shot a 4-under 67 at Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs last season, which tied for the low round of the day at the CIF-SS Individual/CIF State team qualifier.
