The Chargers junior (15:15) had the county’s best individual time of the day to win his heat at the CIF-SS Division 1 preliminaries Saturday. Durham’s effort helped El Toro place first as a team in the heat and finish with the county’s second best overall team time among all five divisions (78:59).
