With a condensed playoff schedule, Carlson was forced to pitch in three playoff games last week. The Mariners senior ace responded by tossing three straight shutouts to go with 23 strikeouts. Carlson has thrown 27 consecutive scoreless innings, and her play is a major reason Pacifica is playing in the CIF-SS Division 1 semifinals Tuesday against Canyon.
