Sean Clark, a former All-County linebacker at Los Alamitos, has been named football coach at Kennedy, the school announced Thursday.

Clark had been an assistant varsity and lower levels coach at Kennedy since 2011. He previously was an assistant coach at Los Alamitos and at Lakewood.

Clark replaces Brit Johnson, who resigned after the 2014 season, his seventh as the school’s coach.

Last season, Kennedy went 5-5 overall and 2-3 in league, finishing fourth in the six-team Empire League.
