Breaking down O.C.'s football leagues

Find updates as most teams open league play this week.

The Trinity League will begin play Friday with two undefeated teams. One might not be a surprise (St. John Bosco), but the other one certainly is.

That would be JSerra.

Armed with the quarterback tandem of Hayden Greene and Sam Inman, the Lions went 5-0 in nonleague, including a 37-35 victory over CIF finalist Pacifica.

JSerra, just like every other county team, will now turn its attention to league play. There are certain to be several surprises in the 13 county leagues. Here is what to look for as we take the final step toward the CIF playoffs.
