FIRST TEAM
Austin Tamagno, Brea Olinda, Sr.

Andrew Burkhardt, JSerra, Sr.
One of the county’s grittiest competitors, Burkhardt was unbeatable in the postseason. After he won the Trinity League for the second year in a row, he went on to win CIF section and state titles in Division 4. He defended his title at the Iolani Invitational and won his grade-level race at the Laguna Hills Invite.
Mason Coppi, Dana Hills, Sr.
He finished the year as a third-team All-American and headed the top-ranked Dolphins squad all year. Coppi helped Dana Hills to a podium finish (third) at the Nike Cross Nationals, finishing 19th. He was the South Coast League champion. The Furman commit was second at the Orange County Championships, fifth at CIF-SS Division 1 Finals, and 13th at the state meet.
Jack Landgraf, Dana Hills, So.
Landgraf surfaced as a top-tier runner early on, winning the Dana Hills Invite in 14:28. He placed ninth at CIF-SS Division 1 Finals and 10th at the state meet. The All-State Division 1 runner added top-five finishes at the Orange County Championships, the South Coast League Finals and the Iolani Invitational.
Chance Lamberth, Canyon, Sr.
His second-place finish in the CIF-SS Division 2 Prelims signaled he was ready to peak at the right time. Lamberth placed third to help the Comanches take second at CIF Finals. At state, he finished seventh as Canyon again was the runner-up. The senior was third at the Crestview League Finals.
Jake Ogden, Dana Hills, Sr.
A mainstay among the county’s elite, Ogden saved his best for last. He was All-CIF and All-State in Division 1 after top-10 finishes at the championship meets. He placed second in the South Coast League Finals, fifth at the Iolani Invitational and seventh at the Mt. SAC Invite.
Dylan Scarsone, Canyon, Sr.
He had tremendous growth this year. Scarsone went from being just inside the top 30 at CIF-SS Finals as a junior to a CIF Division 2 champion as a senior. He finished third at the state meet, fourth at Foot Locker Regionals, and 12th at Foot Locker Nationals.
Jorge Suarez, Santa Ana, Jr.
He was the Golden West League champion and added titles at the Central Park Invite and the Santa Ana City Meet. He also had fourth-place finishes at the Dana Hills and Laguna Hills invites, and he was eighth at the Orange County Championships. The junior placed 16th at the CIF-SS Division 1 Finals to qualify for state as an individual.
