Tesoro golfer Jack Ireland, a two-time Register All-County first-team selection, has committed to play for Cal State Fullerton, his father Jim Ireland said Wednesday.
Last spring, he posted the low round (3-under 69) at the CIF-SS South Coast Team Regional, helping the Titans place second and advance to the CIF state qualifying tournament.
He shot a 4-under 67 at Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs, which tied for the low round of the day at the CIF-SS Individual/CIF State team qualifier.
