ROMAN ARAGON

Capistrano Valley, Senior

He won the South Coast League individual championship, firing a 3-under 69 in the final round at Talega Golf Club on Tuesday to win 36-hole tournament with a 3-under 141. He tied for seventh at the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional, shooting a 2-over 74 at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach. He posted a 3-over 74 at Mission Lakes Country Club during the CIF-SS Individual Championship to become one of 10 county players to advance to the SCGA SoCal Championship in Pasadena. … He medaled nine times for the Cougars this season.

MARCUS DE LA ROSA

Mater Dei, Junior

He tied for 11th in the CIF State Championship after shooting an even-par 71 at San Gabriel Country Club. He had six birdies during and posted the lowest score for a county player at the tournament. He posted a 1-under 70 at Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs to help the Monarchs qualify for the SCGA Southern California Championship for the first time. He shot a 2-over 73 at Sierra La Verne Country Club to help the Monarchs win the CIF-SS Western Team Regional, Mater Dei’s first team championship in boys golf.

MORGAN DENEEN

Foothill, Senior

His scoring average in his three postseason individual tournaments was 74. He tied for fourth in the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional, shooting a 1-over 73 at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach. He posted a 3-over 74 at Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs to qualify for the SCGA SoCal Championship, where he posted a 3-over 75 at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena. He medaled seven times for the Knights this season.

CLAY FEAGLER

Dana Hills, Sophomore

He won the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional with an 2-under 70 at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach and fired a 4-over 75 at Mission Lakes Country Club during the CIF-SS Individual Championship to advance to the SCGA SoCal Championship in Pasadena. He was a six-time medalist for the Dolphins this season. He finished with a 1-over 73 to lead the Dolphins during the CIF-SS South Coast Team Regional at Talega Golf Club in San Clemente.

JACK IRELAND

Tesoro, Junior

He posted the low round (3-under 69) of the CIF-SS South Coast Team Regional, helping the Titans place second and advance to the CIF state qualifying tournament. He shot a 4-under 67 at Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs, which tied for the low round of the day at the CIF-SS Individual/CIF State team qualifier. He finished second in the South Coast League after carding a 3-under 69 in the final round to finish with an even-par 144.

BRETT ROBINSON

Beckman, Junior

He fired a 2-under 70 at Talega Golf Club to help the Patriots win the CIF-SS South Coast Team Regional, which put them in the CIF State qualifying tournament for the first time. He tied for seventh in the CIF-SS Southern Individual with a 2-over 74 at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach, and finished with a 3-over 75 at the SCGA SoCal Championships at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena.

ELLIS TIRADO

Los Alamitos, Sophomore

The Sunset League MVP posted a 3-under 69 on the Classic Course at Mile Square Golf Course to help the Griffins win the CIF-SS Southern Team Regional. He tied for 12th in the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional with a 3-over 75 at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach. He posted a a 3-over 74 at Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs during the CIF-SS Individual Championship to qualify for the SCGA SoCal Championship.

HIDE YOSHIHARA

Woodbridge, Sophomore

He posted an even-par 71 at Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs to tie for fifth in the CIF-SS Individual Championship, the lowest score carded by a county player. He finished with a 3-over 75 at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena. He led the the Warriors at one point this season with a 34.5, scoring average, which is 1.5 strokes under par on a course such as Rancho San Joaquin, the Warriors’ home course.
