Here are OCVarsity's and the Register's selections for the 2013 All-County girls cross country teams, including O.C. Player of the Year, O.C. Coach of the Year and second team.

Northwood, Sr.

FIRST TEAM

MELISSA EISELE

San Clemente, Sr.

The senior earns her fourth All-County selection. She was sixth at the Orange County Championships and finished second at the South Coast League Finals. Eisele was fifth in Division 1 at the CIF-SS Finals, tying for the second-best time among all country runners. She finished 11th at the CIF State Championships and led San Clemente to a seventh-place team finish.

AMANDA GEHRICH

Tesoro, So.

Gehrich earns her second All-County selection. She was second at the O.C. Championships and won her first South Coast League title. Gehrich was seventh in Division 2 at the CIF-SS Finals, tying for the second best time among county runners. She was the only county runner in Division 2 to qualify for the CIF State Championships, where she finished seventh.

SABRINA HERMANN

Trabuco Hills, Jr.

She helped Trabuco Hills finish second at the Orange County Championships and she placed fourth at the South Coast League Finals. Herrmann was seventh in Division 1 at the CIF-SS Finals to help Trabuco Hills finish second. She was 16th in Division 1 at the CIF State Championships, leading the Mustangs to a third-place team finish.

BAILEE MARGOLIS

Trabuco Hills, Jr.

Margolis was a key component behind the Mustangs' success. She was eighth at the CIF-SS Division 1 Finals (fifth best among county runners) to help the Mustangs finish second. At the CIF State Championships, Margolis placed 18th and had the seventh-best time among all county runners to help Trabuco Hills finish third.

GRACE SCHAFER

Capistrano Valley, Jr.

The junior finished fourth at the O.C. Championships to spur Capistrano Valley to its first team title. She was fourth at the South Coast League Finals. Schafer was 13th in Division 1 at the CIF-SS Finals (seventh best among county runners) and 10th in Division 1 at the CIF State Championships. She led the Cougars to top-four team finishes in both CIF competitions.

JULIA SIENSKI

Edison, Jr.

Sienski enjoyed a breakthrough season. She finished third at the O.C. Championships, won her first Sunset League title and helped Edison win the team title for the first time since 1994. Sienski was ninth in Division 1 at the CIF-SS Finals and led Edison to the state meet for the first time since 2007. She finished 14th at state and had the county’s fifth-best time.

CASSIDY TOWNER

El Dorado, Sr.

Towner was one of the county’s most improved runners and sparked El Dorado to its best season in three decades. After winning titles at the Bronco Invitational and the Central Park Invitational, Towner placed fifth at the O.C. Championships. She won the Century League title in meet-record time. She was slowed by illness during CIF competition, but still helped the Golden Hawks qualify for the CIF-SS Finals in Division 3.
