Fryer on football: Prediciting the CIF-SS playoffs

After mediocre results the previous nine weeks, the Fryer on Football predictions got hot the final two weeks with a 13-3 record in predicting game winners.

For nine weeks, I had been influenced by the readership and media colleagues. I had forgotten how nutty some people can be when it comes to assessing Orange County football.

Letting others influence my opinions of county sports is like letting the wife pick the movie. It first seems like a good idea, but regret is sure to follow.
