The Princeton-bound senior raced the breaststroke leg on the winning 200-yard medley relay, placed seventh in the 200 individual medley (school-record 2:02.37) and 100 breaststroke (1:04.96) and swam on the fifth-place 200 free relay to help the Warriors finish second in the CIF-SS Division 1 finals. Choi is taking AP statistics, psychology, literature and economics. She earned AP Scholar with Distinction last year. Choi also has been nominated for the Irvine scholar-athlete banquet in June and invited to the Sentinel awards. She is a three-time scholastic All-American for USA Swimming. The Aquazot club swimmer volunteers at Bethel Church in Santa Ana.
